About
What is Sound Loud?
Sound Loud DJ School is a DJ school in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with DJ courses and a music production course. It has been running since October 2025 in the Turan Media building at 154/4 Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street (Mirzo-Ulugbek district). The school was founded by DJ and producer DPLX (Alexey Tretyakov); Shokhrullo Abdullaev is co-founder and investor of Sound Loud. DJ and producer Gappar (Sukhrob Akhmedov) is a mentor and partner of the school. DPLX and Gappar are Afro House artists with releases on Beatport. Lessons are one-to-one or in small groups, in Russian or Uzbek, on Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta equipment. The same building houses Turan Records, the recording studio of Turan Media, the school’s general sponsor, with the Red Room inside, where the Red Room Sessions take place. The school runs its own Sound Loud Coffee Rave events.

Common questions
Where can I learn to DJ in Tashkent?
At Sound Loud DJ School, 154/4 Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street, Turan Media building, Tashkent. The DJ courses DJ Start, DJ Pro and DJ Intensive run on the school’s Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta gear, one-on-one or in a small group, in Russian or Uzbek. What DJ courses does Sound Loud offer?
Three courses: DJ Start for people who have never stood behind the decks; DJ Pro for those who already play and want to get into clubs; DJ Intensive, the DJ Start basics in a condensed format. If you want to make your own music, there is Producer Track. See the “DJ courses” page for details.
Can I learn to DJ from scratch?
Yes. DJ Start is for people who have never stood behind the decks: players, mixer and headphones, your library in rekordbox, beatmatching and mixing in key. Short on time? The same basics come in a condensed format — DJ Intensive.
Do I need my own controller?
No. Lessons run on the school’s Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta gear.
Which controller should a beginner buy?
You don’t need to buy anything at the start: lessons run on the school’s Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta gear. When you want your own, ask your mentor; gear can be ordered through our partner @loudsound.uz.
How is DJ Intensive different from DJ Start?
It is the same program — the DJ Start basics: counting, beat, key, decks, rekordbox and transitions. DJ Intensive covers it in a condensed, fast-paced format for people who are short on time.
How long does the training take?
It depends on the course and the format — one-on-one or a small group. We’ll tell you the length and schedule after your request.
What language are classes in?
Russian or Uzbek — the mentors speak both.
One-on-one or in a group?
Both: individual lessons or a small group. We’ll send group schedules after your request.
Do you teach online?
Lessons take place at the school in Tashkent, on Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta gear. If you need another format, say so in your request and we’ll confirm.
Who teaches?
Working artists: DPLX and Gappar with releases on Beatport, DJ Joker and beatmaker Crisen.
Can I learn production without DJ experience?
Yes. Producer Track is about music, not decks: beat, arrangement, mixdown.
Do you have a beatmaking and music production course?
Yes — Producer Track: beats, arrangement and mixing in FL Studio or Ableton Live, taught by Crisen and Gappar. See the “Music production course” page for details.
Can I record my own track?
Yes. Turan Records, the recording studio of Turan Media (general sponsor of Sound Loud), works in the same building: recording, mixing, beats from scratch and streaming release. The Red Room is inside, where the Red Room Sessions take place.
Can I rent a DJ set for an event?
Yes. Pioneer DJ / AlphaTheta players and mixer, delivered across Tashkent and set up on site; speakers and other sound gear via our partner @loudsound.uz.
Can I book a DJ for an event?
Yes. Sound Loud DJs play corporate events, private parties and weddings in Tashkent; send a “DJ for an event” request.
Where are classes held?
154/4 Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street, Turan Media building, Mirzo-Ulugbek District, Tashkent 100077. We share the map pin (Google, Yandex, 2GIS) and the entrance in Telegram, agree on a time and meet you. Pickup can be arranged at an extra cost.
